We are pleased to announce that from May 1, 2020 our company has changed its registered office. We are located at: ul. Zglenickiego 46M, 09-411 Płock. It is very close to our previous headquarters, work on the completion of construction is still ongoing (we are building a production hall) and we will share the photos after completing the entire investment. On May 15, 2020 Consortium Spec-Rem S.A. and Mostostal Płock S.A. concluded with Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. based in Płock, a contract for the performance of a modernization task in the EPC formula consisting in the replacement of ethylene and propylene cold circulation process pipelines and pipelines operating at negative temperatures at the Olefin 2 plant installation. The maximum value of the contract, in 80% billed on the basis of unit prices, amounts to PLN 137,700,000.00 net.
As part of the task, we performed work on the Olefin II installation, consisting of, among others, to:
– dismantling of 3 long-serving pyrogas coolers with a total weight of 68,000 kg and ascending and descending pipelines connecting the pyrogas coolers with a vapor separator
– assembly of 3 new generation pyrogas coolers with a total weight of 66300 kg and ascending and descending pipelines connecting pyrogas coolers with a vapor separator.
On September 2, 2019, a partnership cooperation agreement was signed between SPEC-REM S.A. and Technical Education Schools Complex in Plock. According to the agreement SPEC-REM S.A. became a Complex’s Didactic Partner who will organize internships for students of vocational school and technical school. Technical Education Schools Complex’s employees will conduct training sessions for our Company’s employees.
In July 2020, we signed an agreement with Beruseal and Carbon Tech, under which SPEC-REM S.A. will be a representative and contractor of services related to the repair of leaks and damage to pipelines with the use of clamps and composite materials. This technology allows for repair work to be carried out without the need to stop the installation. Our activities will be carried out in Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania, on an exclusive basis.
As part of the cooperation, training sessions for employees of Spec-Rem S.A. were also held. in terms of new technology.
